Our Thailand adventure started in Bangkok - truly one of the world's great capitals!
A summer residence of the King. The gardens were simply stunning.
A unique Thai village which has a train run through the marketplace every day!
Also known as Ancient Siam and the world's largest outdoor museum. most artifacts are in fact replicas, as the originals were too far deteriorated to save.
A trip up into the mountains took us to the famous Hellfire Pass, where allied troops were worked as slaves by the Japanese to build a railway pass. Sobering.
Another artefact of slave labour, and the subject of a very famous film. Shame about the tourist train over the bridge that you have to dodge!
Another famous tourist attraction, and an amazing opportunity to interact with these rare and beautiful creatures.
The previous capital of Thailand, Chiang Mai offered an insight into a previous age. Very interesting.
An opportunity to see these awesome creatures at work and play was not to be missed. Brilliant!
This temple atop a mountain offered a break from the heat, and a brilliant cultural experience.
